3 months/1 year and 3 months

Cotinued countdown to 2 years old....

At 3 months old Laura Beth was beginning to eat rice cereal and really coo back and forth with us. She "talked" to everything at this age.

This is her at 3 months old at her cousin, Hannah Claire's, birthday party. She is sleeping, smiling, and dreaming of when she will have a birthday. ha!

One year later, at 1 year and 3 months old, Laura Beth was back at Hannah Claire's birthday party. See the lips. The attitude begins. ha! (really, she just didn't want to wear her glasses. Now we can't get the sunglasses off of her. ha!)

2 months/1 year 2 months

The countdown to 2 years old continues.....

At 2 months Laura Beth was getting shots and learning about the TRAUMA of the doctor's office. ha! Laura Beth was fun to dress up at this age. :) Around this age she began going to church regularly.

A year later than the above picture, at 1 year and 2 months, Laura Beth was loving cell phones (and still does). She was still not walking at this age. BUT she would smile for pictures (which she hardly does now). I LOVED this age!!!

Laura Beth pulled up and cruised all over the place, but she would never let go and walk. Jack loved playing with her. We miss him so much!

1 month / 1 year 1 month

At 1 month old Laura Beth was taking "big girl" baths and loving it. Can't you tell? ha! No really, she did enjoy baths especially since her daddy gave her most all of her baths.

At 1 year and 1 month, Laura Beth was loving her front facing car seat. She had been front facing for a little while, but I caught this shot one day after church when I thought she was sleeping.

2 Wonderful Years

Almost 2 years ago, our world as newly weds was greatly enhanced by this wonderful baby girl, Laura Beth.

4 days old (first month)

We cannot think of all the words to express how much joy she brings to ours lives. We are so thankful to God for her overall health and sweet spirit. This is Laura Beth at her first birthday in Greenville, MS. We will blog about each month of her first couple of years until her birthday on February 9.

Yee HAW!

We went to the stock show parade this morning. It was pretty windy, but no rain (which made it much better). This is Laura Beth getting ready for the parade.

We had pretty good seats at the place where the parade began.

HOWEVER, I think this was the place of pooping for the parade participants. YUCK! I guess that is the price we paid for good seats. :) EEWWWW!!!! It was yuck.

We saw BIG horses!

AND little horses. ha!

Everyone clapped and cheered when these guys came by. Nice moment.

These girls were standing on their horses throughout the parade.

Impressive.

It was pretty cold so we headed home for a nap. Fun TIMES in TEXAS!

Twinkle Twinkle

I didn't edit this. Ignore the bed head and pajamas. It was early and we weren't dressed for video but my dad made a request that I update my blog and I thought I would try to get some good "laura Beth talking" for him.

I think it is a pretty cute little clip of how playing with Laura Beth for 3 minutes looks. :) (The video is 3 minutes). Mammy, look for some signs, "dog," and "elephant." Papaw hear that tone deaf singing. Gotta love it!

Ben and Jennifer visit

I was so surprised when Jennifer Gilliam (one of my best friends!) stated she was coming to TX! Her man, Ben, was on board too. I was so excited for Laura Beth to get to hang out with them, but even more I was THRILLED to spend time with Jennifer. I miss her alot.

So what better way to spend time with your best friend than an ARCADE!? We went to Chuck e Cheese to spend some time goofing off. Laura Beth love it and so did the BIG KIDS!

Yeah, this game is for kids Laura Beth's age. ha!
