Crawfish Boil Reunion

We had a family reunion last weekend in Elgin, TX. My family came to Texas from MS. We had a great time.

Laura Beth enjoyed her cousin Kendra the MOST! She followed her around all day. When Kendra wasn't present, Laura Beth was calling her name looking for her.

Chalk with Kendra.
Puppy with Kendra
Laura Beth's second favorite guest of the Crawfish Boil.
Me and my man!
Me and the "Old" man. (my dad)

The Brothers.
My dad and his son in laws.
Laura Beth loved this "Dragon" so much (I think he is supposed to be an alligator). However, she has never seen a Pinata NOR what happens to the Pinata. She hugged it and talked to it.

Then, she discovered what would happen to him. However, once we said, "Candy", Laura Beth was ready to participate.
She woke from a DEAD sleep in the car on the way home saying, "YEA, candy!" ha!
Before we went to Elgin, Gage and Laura Beth got to hang out. Laura Beth got those goggles while in the mall. She had to wear them right away.
THEN, it was off to the BEACH! Well, the lake beach.
Thanks Hannah Claire for the bathing suit and shoes!

Fun in the sun...all by herself.

Playing with sand with Daddy.
Gage is a TRUE water bug! He loves it.Align Center

Gage also loves Laura Beth's swing.

We also went to the Fort Worth Children's Museum. Nice way to beat the heat!

The whole family getting ready for the 3-d movie.
Reading a book at a really cool table.
Laura Beth is COMPLETELY obsessed with this girl and pig. She talked about them all day.

Laura Beth loved the "Grocery Store."
These cashiers look familiar.
Playing with the HUGE train.
Playing doctor. Yes. She gave the baby a shot in the mouth. We still give Laura Beth her medicine in a syringe. She thinks she is giving the baby medicine.

Laying in a dinosaur footprint.

Overall, it was a fun weekend. We are heading into a HOT summer. It will be Over 100 degrees her in Texas this weekend. Laura Beth starts her new daycare next week. She met her "new friends" today and wanted to go back when Steve began to drive away.

My mother-in-law (mammy) is coming to Texas tonight. I will post pictures of her time here by the end of the weekend or next week.
