When we moved to Texas, we pretty much instantly bought Zoo Memberships. We had been told this was the thing to do. We have been very satisfied that we did buy them. We used them twice just this week. :) BUT TODAY, was different. The new MOLA (Museum Of Living Art) Exhibit opened. All members were invited to come to the Zoo early for a tour of the new exhibit.
Needless to say, there are MANY members of the Fort Worth Zoo. All of the members were ready to see the new exhibit. Laura Beth is already a fan of the one of the newest Statues...Mr. Turtle.
We are posting this next picture hoping to entice Uncle Aaron to come to TX. Oh yeah, it's a dragon. He's bigger than this picture makes him out to be.
After MOLA, we explored the rest of the Zoo. Apparently the early opening for members allowed us to see some fun things. Like these ducks being fed by the trainer. Laura Beth's new "thing" is to climb up on the fences to see the animals.
This is the closest I have ever been to the hippos. They are usually not moving too much, but it was early so they were all over the place.
This was one of my favorite things. The elephant trainer brought the elephants out for some tricks. Can you even see the trainer in front of these massive animals?
Another great trip to the Zoo. :)

I will have lived in Fort Worth for 4 years this summer, and I have never visited the Zoo. That is on the list of things to do.
LB's pig tails are precious!
