Halloween, The Grove, Baby Shower, and Cheathams

OK, so we borrowed a camera and these are the great pictures we got from last weeks fun times! We went to the First Baptist Fall Festival last Wednesday. Laura Beth was a cute butterfly.

Granny was a lifesaver at Fall Festival. Laura Beth was very tired. Granny held her most of the night. Too sweet. Laura Beth you are very fortunate to have such a wonderful Granny....or maybe I'm very fortunate that you have such a wonderful Granny. ha!

Laura Beth would not look at the camera (you should see the other ATtempts at getting this shot). She is way to busy focused on the games everyone was playing.Mimi and Laura Beth (Thanks for the sweet "1st Halloween" card, Mimi). Laura Beth had alot of fun, and as you can see, we did too! If you're wondering why Steve has a sign on that says "Jon" it's because we were dressed as "Jon and Kate + 8" (Note our 8 youth children). HA!
OUr children! Yeah, we couldn't get any boys to go in with us on our costume.
We love you all equally. HA!
You can't tell in these pictures, but Steve is actually holding these 3 teenagers (our "Children") off the ground. Crazy!

Madison on the right is one of our newest additions (children) to the youth group. :)
MY FIRST HALLOWEEN!!! Yippee! Why can't I eat the leaf and the pumpkin? We sat outside while people were first starting to "trick or treat." It was so nice outside. A sweet neighbor wanted to get a picture of our whole family (so nice) and of course Laura Beth just wanted to eat the pumpkin. ha!The next day, we woke up VERY early and headed to Oxford to do lots of visiting. Some of you won't believe your eyes when you see these next few pictures, but Laura Beth's daddy let her wear Ole Miss Apparel. :) We got to see one of my best friends, Jennifer! Laura Beth loved playing with her necklace. We also got to take Laura Beth by the Theta tent. She sported her Theta Sticker very nicely on her bib.
Now that is some Ole Miss Apparel. ha! Even the pacifier. Don't worry MSU fans, she has the EXACT same pacifier with a bulldog on it. ha!We also got to meet up with James and Alicia Cheatham. This picture is of Steve and James (who are college friends) and their daughters.
Lucy and Laura Beth thought each other were fascinating. I think Lucy thought Laura Beth was a baby doll. And Laura Beth...well...she just wanted to eat Lucy...I'm sure. Laura Beth has always loved little people (babies and young children). After the Grove, we had a baby shower for my good friend, Brigitte, from Graduate school. She looked so cute pregnant! We can't wait to meet Tennyson!

All in all, the Oxford trip was fun! We're so glad we got to see everyone!

Happy Birthday Aunt Gee Gee!

November 7th is Aunt Gee Gee's Birthday! Aunt Gee Gee is my Sister, Angie. She is such a sweet Aunt. She has a few niece's and nephews and they all adore her. Angie is also the best sister.

Birthday Wish to Angie from your little sister, Lizzie:

"November 7....What a special day! It is the day that God gave the world the most enthusiastic, exciting person. According to our parents, she was the BEST baby (better than me and her brother). She is full of energy and ideas. I love her BIG HEART and her CREATIVE mind. I just love you so much! May your birthday be filled with love!"

Birthday Wish from Brother in law, Steve:

Angie Pangie is my favorite sister-in-law. She was my first friend of the Andrews family and for that I'll be forever grateful. And as much as i hate to admit it to ya Angie... Laura Beth does look alot like you.. Oh and she acts like you when she's hungry or its bedtime.. Love ya.

Birthday wish from niece, Laura Beth:

"On February 9, 2008, I met my Aunt Gee Gee. She was so excited to meet me. She left a church retreat to race to the hospital just to catch a glimpse at me on the day I was born. I loved getting to go on vacation with her to Texas. I loved it when she put me to sleep when I stayed at her house. She has been such a sweet Aunt. She prays for me and anxiously awaits the days that she gets to see me. I love her so much. Happy Birthday Aunt Gee Gee!"

No photos...sad. BUT fun week coming up!

Recently, our camera has gone missing in action. SO, we have been missing photo opportunities of Laura Beth for a couple weeks. Yeah, I know... a couple weeks is not that bad to go without pictures, but if you haven't notice, we LOVE to take pictures of Laura Beth. Anyway, in 2 weeks she has started to show signs of wanting to crawl, which we wish we could show you, BUT then we're back the missing camera again. ha.

Steve finished tiling the laundry room last week. It looks great! Thank you, Lord, for giving me a "handy-man" husband! He's just so GREAT!

This week is a big week for us. We're planning on borrowing a camera to take pictures of everything.

On Wednesday, we have the "Fall Festival" at church. Laura Beth is going to be an insect (her grandpa, my dad, is an Entomologist. He is excited to see her costume!). She is really going to be a cute butterfly...but that isn't what they call them in the Entomology world. I actually don't know what they call them in that world. ha!

Then, Saturday we are heading to Oxford. Hotty Toddy! Ha! (I had to throw that in there for all my College friends). We'll be in the Grove (yes, it's capitalized...I think), before the game (hopefully). We hope to see lots of people we haven't gotten to see in a while. Then, we'll be heading to Avent Park to enjoy the nice weather (hopefully) and meet up with some friends to have a baby shower for a friend of mine from Graduate School, Brigitte Lange. It should be another very exciting weekend! :)

Happy early birthday to a special friend, Lucy Cheatham! She is turning 1 year old this week! We hope to get to see you Saturday at the game, Lucy!

Weekends are never dull!

A couple of weekends ago, we made a trip to Jackson as we were going to the Mears family reunion in Meridian. At Uncle Aaron and Aunt Laura's house Laura Beth found a new toy that she absolutely loves. It was bigger than her but she insisted on picking it up and playing with it. Steve and I decided that day maybe Laura Beth needs some bigger toys. ha!

Laura Beth loved waking up to see Hannah Claire. This is a picture of them in Hannah Claire's big girl bed after just waking up. (Somehow that blue bib makes it into all of my pictures!).
In Meridian, Laura Beth had a great time meeting some relatives for the first time.

Laura Beth and Jessica playing together.

Hannah Claire loves to kiss Laura Beth. The baby on the floor was Hannah Claire's favorite toy in Meridian. She said the baby needed her hair brushed, which is hilarious when you look at the baby doll's hair. ha!

This next weekend, we went to the Washington football game. This was Laura Beth's first High School Football game. She was pretty tired (hence, no smiles), but she enjoyed seeing everyone and watching the dance teams pom poms. ha!

Weekend with the Andrews' and Stallings' Families

What a weekend! We had a GREAT time celebrating my dad's birthday for the WHOLE weekend.

Angie and Breisch came in on Friday. My mom and dad babysat Laura Beth Friday afternoon, because I had bible study. Then, at 7 pm Friday, Steve and I headed to a high school football game to watch some youth friends of ours play and cheer. Then, after the game we had "5th Quarter" at the church until midnight. Yeah, we were tired the next morning.

On Saturday, we got to eat pancakes with Angie and Breisch and have a photo opportunity with Laura Beth. In the photos, Laura Beth is styling a very cute outfit from "Blessed Be the Name" kids clothing line. My sister, Angie, bought her the outfit.

Laura Beth was more interested in the grass...

After the photo shoot, Laura Beth went to her Mimi and Pop's house (Linda and Randy Dismuke) while Steve, Lou, Angie, Breisch, my mom, my dad, and me went to watch "Fireproof" the movie. IT WAS A GREAT MOVIE! We highly recommend this movie to all of our friends. :) After the movie, we all headed to TCBY for icecream. Later that night, we all hung out and ate "birthday dinner" for my dad at my parent's house. The food was fantastic! Below a picture of Laura Beth and her uncle Lou Lou!

Lastly, we all went to church this morning and worshipped together. It was a great weekend. "Thank you so much" to Angie, Breisch, and Lou for truckin' over to Gville for some good times!

Of course the weekend ended...and we all went back our seperate ways, to our seperate cities, and seperate jobs :(.... BUT we know that we'll be seeing each other again soon AND the time we had together was so wonderful!

Tonight after church, Steve and I were playing with Laura Beth before bed time. Steve read her a book with this cute dog in it that Laura Beth loves. (PLEASE IGNORE THE BLUE BIB...it's a long story. ha!)
All in all, we had a fantastic weekend!
